1Welcome to an exciting first year at Hite and in Kindergarten!! It is going to be a
wonderful year with a lot of fun and learning ahead of us! We are a Care for Kids school and we are going to represent that in our classroom. This year we are going to build positive relationships with other students, school staff, parents, and within the community. I expect allof my students to be active participants in their education and encourage one another as we grow together.
My name is Tiffany Parrett and I graduated from Indiana University Southeast, which is also where I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I received a 2nd Master’s Degree from
Arkansas State University in Educational Theory and Practice. This will be my 11th year teaching, I
taught 4 years at H.B. Slaughter Elementary, while I was there I taught in 3rd grade, Kindergarten, and 1st grade before transferring to Hite where I taught 1st/2nd until switching to Kindergarten. Kindergarten is a great year where a lot of growth occurs. This is my 7th year here at Hite and it is a wonderful place to be!!
My husband Anthony and I live in Shelbyville and have a 5 year old son Tanner, a 3 year old son, Easton and our newest addition Kimber who is 8 weeks. I hope that this will be a great beginning to your child’s education and it will give them a love of learning!! I look forward to getting to know more about all of your children and you
as well!!
