Hi! My name is Mrs. Wilson and I am SO excited to be part of the Hite Elementary Kindergarten team! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. When I graduated high school, I moved to Bowling Green, KY to attend Western Kentucky University. GO HILLTOPPERS! At Western I met my husband Hunter. We will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary this year. In October 2012, I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Abigail. She brings such joy, excitement and non stop movement to my life! This September we will be adding another girl to our family. We are so excited for her arrival and can't wait to meet her!
This will be my seventh year teaching. I have taught first grade, third grade and English as a Second Language to third, fourth, and fifth graders, before finding my place in kindergarten. This will be my fourth year at Hite and in kindergarten. Kindergarten is my favorite grade so far because of the growth and introduction to learning you experience in this essential year of school.
We are a team and I look forward to working with each of you to help your child grow and succeed. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns throughout the school year. You can also send in a note with your child in their Take Home Folder. I look forward to getting to know each of you. Welcome to Hite, Kindergarten and Room 102!
